The news that a new iteration of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare would be in development for the year 2022 comes from the hand of Tom henderson, quite reputed leaker within the community. This title would have the code name «Cortez Project“Based on what you’ve heard from your own sources. Of course, this codename only it would be used indoors in the company, but it is very likely that the title will end up using the surname Modern Warfare when it is finally presented, and will be a sequel to the title released in 2019.
