Twitter starts the debate of a group of young people about the housework that bothers them the most.
It is no secret that social networks have now become a great window for new generations and, in general, for young people to share part of their life experiences, routines and sorrows, as happens today in Twitter, where a group of millennials discuss what household chore they find most annoying to do and why.
Whether it’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or TikTok, any platform represents a conversation space through which all opinions can be added. In the end, if social networks have shown anything, it is that they are part of a new culture that is even growing day by day.
This is revealed by the most recent report prepared by We Are Social and Hootsuite, Digital 2022, which indicates that, currently, there are about five billion people connected to the web and just over four thousand users of social networks.
Of course, the arrival of the pandemic greatly facilitated the fact that now the universe of social networks has grown in such a way; however, they had been relevant for a long time and, after the health emergency, the process accelerated even more.
Taking these data into account, it is not surprising that conversations take place in the digital pulse and that, in addition, these are the ones that set the tone to follow in the strategies of brands and companies.
However, in recent weeks Twitter has been in the media spotlight for various reasons, among which are a series of new features and functions that will soon arrive on the platform in order to offer a new experience to users and, incidentally, win more followers, since, in this area, the social network of the little bird has not had the expected success.
Young people debate about the housework that bothers them the most
Official data indicates that, as of today, Twitter has more than a billion registered accounts, of which just over 300 million belong to active users. From this perspective, we are talking about a platform that is very far from the elite led by Facebook.
However, Twitter is also the space where a group of young millennials have begun to debate about the housework that bothers them the most.
It all started with a tweet that, so far, has generated more than a thousand retweets, more than 12 thousand likes and has received the response of more than a thousand users.
According to what the tweeter expresses, who calls herself @AkulkaNthe housework that bothers him the most is “folding and putting clean clothes away”.
What is the household chore that shocks you the most?
To me to fold and keep clean clothes. It’s boring, tedious, almost unnecessary. I hate it.

The response of Internet users, to which that of the TV Azteca host, Pedro Sola, was added, was immediate and, now, there is a wide-ranging conversation through which users show their opinion on the matter.
I hate washing dishes.
I love to change sheets and put a bed with lots of pillows. (And I know there is a sect that irons the sheets. I don’t belong but they are an enigma to me.)— Mel Buendia (@melbuendia) May 24, 2022
Wash dishes.

Dishwashing! I make a thousand attempts to help with something else, but I never wash them?
– Alejandra Calderón (@AleCalderonC) May 24, 2022
Washing dishes but even more at a supreme level, mopping, I can’t stand it, because it also turns out very bad for me and that’s why we exchange haha.
– Eugenia (@eumon) May 23, 2022
Iron clothes and take out the garbage (I don’t like putting my hands in the garbage)??
– Ana? (@AnieCenteno) May 24, 2022
Beyond the origin of the conversation, what remains clear is the fact that social networks are the stage where young people and new generations deposit their opinions about what is happening in the world.
And it is that, ultimately, digitization came to change the panorama in almost all areas; today, to mention an example, users find out about the news before the specialized portals themselves thanks to social networks.
