This cheese dip it’s a bad thing Silky, tasty and very quick to prepare, it is ready in five minutes. The microwave is responsible for working the miracle of converting the three ingredients that make it up into a cream that you will want to eat by the spoonful. Although accompanying it with some nachos is not a bad idea, eh!
For this dip I recommend using a grated cheddar of the economic, which has a lot of flavor and melts wonderfully. Nothing to buy the best in your main cheese shop, leave that for when you set up a rich table. You can combine it with other cheeses, in fact with this recipe you can dispose of those leftovers that you have in the fridge and prevent them from spoiling.
A important recommendation on the service temperature. If you are going to consume it hot, then I recommend that you follow the recipe to the letter. The texture with which the dip is left when leaving the micro is perfect. But if you prefer it cold, reduce the amount of refined cornmeal in half to prevent it from thickening too much when the temperature drops.
We put the grated cheddar cheese in a wide and deep container together with the refined cornmeal. Add the evaporated milk, stir and microwave. we program two minutes at full power.
We remove and continue programming 40-45 second intervals, beating the mixture in between, until the cheese is well melted. We give it a touch of an arm mixer to give it creaminess and that’s it. If we want, we can decorate the dip with some tomato cubes, chopped chives and black pepper.
