Microsoft’s new camera is equipped with a sensor 12 megapixels with a field of view of 136º. This allows the camera to capture a larger image than a normal camera. It also has up to 1 teraflop of computing power.
This power is used in conjunction with a algorithm which has been developed by Microsoft to correct different elements such as distortions, skew and wide angle corrections. This allows for better video quality in meetings and video calls.
