metroid Y Street Fighter are two of the biggest video game franchises in the industry’s history, with two female characters that bucked the male trend in gaming: Samus and Chun Li.
In the case of Nintendo’s titles, action and adventure, they are based on the creation of Makoto Kano and the artist Hiroji Kiyotake, in the early eighties, who gave life to the bounty hunter Samus Aranwho tries to protect the galaxy from the Space Pirates and their attempts to harness the power of Metroid creatures.
For their part, the oldest will remember that in 1997 a video game called Street Fighter appeared on arcade machines, today a fighting classic and one of Capcom’s most treasured franchises, which was presented in the sequel Street Fighter II in 1991 through chun-lithe first female fighter in the game.

According to a report published on the website of Geek My Newsthe Mexican illustrator and conceptual artist known as danderfullwith more than 8,000 followers on Instagram, shared her fan art featuring Samus and Chun-Li fused into one character.
“Chun-Li x Samus, or Samus Li Galactic Cop”, wrote the designer to identify his work, which he confessed that it took him six hours to do it.
As we can see, the post includes several images of the entire artistic process, in which the artist combined the most basic features of the Metroid protagonist and Chun-Li, taking from the first the face and part of its armor, the color of hair and the co-star of Street Figther his battle dress, his studded bracelets and the style of hair.
