The man was CEO of BBDO Mexico for 12 years, later he was CEO of On & Off Network and in 2022 he was CEO of Advertiser Channel. I am also part of the editorial board at Merca2.0 for more than nine years.
BBDO joins the mourning for the death of Rodolfo Cavalcanti
Rodolfo, who worked for more than a decade in the network and was one of the pioneers of great campaigns in Mexico.
“BBDO Mexico, mourns the death of our EX BBDO. Rodolfo was one of the great referents of the industry in Mexico and consolidated BBDO as one of the most important advertising brands in this country; Although I did not have the opportunity to work with him, those who still remain in the agency remember him with great affection and gratitude. Of course, in our memory there will always be campaigns that are still a case study today, such as ‘The Difference between Wanting and Being Power’ for American Express and the Marifer campaign for Iusacell, which was the first comparative campaign in Mexico”, said Camilo Plazas, CEO from BBDO Mexico.
For his part, Sindo Ingelmo, who continues in the agency and has great memories of Rodolfo, shared:
“Rodolfo Cavalcanti was a person very loved by all his people. He was always on the lookout for us and when we needed something he helped us immediately. He worked for ideas and very closely with the creative team. Passionate about advertising and master of public relations. I was fortunate to work at BBDO when Rodolfo was president and I remember him as a great human being and friend. Rest in peace Rodolfo Cavalcanti”.
