Mexican independent development studio Navegante Entertainment is proud to announce that Greak: Memories of Azurehis debut game, has been nominated for the Quirino Awards for Ibero-American Animation in the category of “Best Video Game Animation”. The award ceremony will take place on May 14 in San Cristobal de La Laguna, Tenerife.
Greak: Memories of Azur features a traditional hand-drawn animation style that gives the game a unique personality, thanks to the design of its characters, enemies, and settings. The quality of Greak’s animation is on a par with the best games of the genre, for which Navegante Entertainment deserves the recognition.

This is not the first recognition that Greak: Memories of Azur has received, since at the end of last year it was the winner in two categories of the Latinx Games Festival, Excellence in Visual Art and Best Game of the Year 2021. It is very well deserved, as every aspect of the game overflows with the passion of its creators.
Greak: Memories of Azur was released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam in August of last year, but it came to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in December, so you can get it on all platforms now. . Last month Greak: Memories of Azur was part of Xbox Free Play Days.

In my review of Greak: Memories of Azur I said that it was a game that was at the level of the best indies, because graphically it is on a par with jewels like Hollow Knight, it has a very precise gameplay and a soundtrack performed by the Philharmonic Orchestra Cinco de Mayo, originally from Puebla.
