PSG has achieved its great goal: to build a squad and an eleven packed with the best world stars. With the arrival of Leo Messi, the owner and president of the club, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, has made his dream come true when he took the reins of the Parisian entity a decade ago and has the most dangerous trident in continental football.
PSG’s summer has been absolute madness: have signed Giunluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi, Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum and Leo Messi in the same market window. The Argentine star, along with Mbappé and Neymar, are three of the footballers with the highest market value and three of the most decisive attackers of the moment.
The market value of the eleven-type PSG amounts to 691 million euros: Donnarumma (€ 65M); Achraf (€ 60M), Sergio Ramos (€ 10M), Kimpembe (€ 40M), Bernat (€ 16M); Verrati (€ 55M), Marquinhos (€ 75M), Wijnaldum (€ 30M); Messi (€ 80M), Mbappé (€ 160M), Neymar (€ 100M).
The secondary ones, on the exit ramp
PSG has a dream eleven, but also a second unit with great potential to which the club will have to look for a way out if it does not want to break the fair-play financial. This is the case of some players with a certain market such as Mauro Icardi, Kurzawa, Paredes, Gueye, Rafinha, Ander Herrera, Draxler or Pablo Sarabia.
Until now, President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has only shed Alphonse Areola (€ 2M) and Mitchel Bakker (€ 7M). Arrivals from Wijnaldum, Donnarumma, Ramos and Messi have been at zero cost, but not those of Achraf Hakimi (€ 60M) or Danilo Pereira (€ 16M).
