- Twitter falls again and is the topic of conversation on social networks this Wednesday, March 1.
- Elon Musk has not given details of the fall of Twitter, but many say that it is a consequence of staff cuts and improvisations in the development of the application.
- The fall of Twitter affects users from different parts of the world.
Twitter was down for hundreds of thousands of users this Wednesday, March 1, according to the report on other social media and outage tracking site downdetector.com.
The users who reported problems are from different countries around the world, including the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia.
According to Downdetector, a website that tracks outages by collecting status reports from different sources, it detected the difficulties from the early hours of Wednesday based on errors submitted by a large number of users on its platform.
Some reports say that the Twitter home page in its web version, for example, looks black with the blue logo in the center for long seconds, and then enters the site but in a limited way.
For example, the “following” tab is inaccessible and only posts appear in the “for you” tab, which was added by Twitter developers in recent weeks.
Twitter did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
Fall of Twitter: more and more frequent
Twitter, which was bought by Musk in a $44 billion multi-billion dollar acquisition in October 2022, suffered a major crash in December of that same year, leaving hundreds of thousands of users around the world without access to the platform.
Another Twitter “blackout” occurred in February, affecting fewer users.
