The name of starfox reminds us of the horrible Eternals, but hey, he’ll get his chance to shine in Eternals 2, though we really hope the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) give space in another production to the character played by Harry Styles, perhaps a little before a hypothetical date for the sequel.
Few knew it but Starfox aka Eros is brother of Thanos in the house of ideas comics. Of course, the character was much less fearsome than the Mad Titan, perhaps Harry is a little to blame, but the truth is that they are relatives, sons of Mentor, each with their respective roles within the MCU.
Thanos, magnificently played by Josh Brolin in the Infinity Saga, we saw with his intense interest in destroying half of the life in the universe. To Starfox, for his part, he was hardly in a post credits scene of Eternals with Pip the Trollembodied by Patton Oswalt and meeting with some of the eternals.
Interestingly, although Thanos is no longer in the current MCU timeline, there has been a great rivalry between him and Starfox. And they are totally different: one is a feared villain, the other an adventurous hero. Nevertheless, none of the above is the big difference between the brothers.
The big difference between the brothers Thanos and Starfox
As the report published on the website of culture leisurein the AX comic: Starfox #1, written by Kieron Gillen and illustrated by VC’s Daniele Di Nicuolo, Frank William and Joe Sabino, Marvel Has Revealed The Biggest Difference Between These Characters.
While Starfox postulates himself as the savior of the human species and declares himself as its firm protector, the Mad Titan would have been pleased by the destruction of the Earth. Genuinely, the way each one approaches what love, death and war is what differentiates them between good and evil.
The comic narrates that Eros tries to save the Earth from a celestial judgment and realizes that he must use his power to manipulate the brain pleasure centers of humans to avoid a catastrophe.
Trying to look for alternative options, he connects to the Great Machine and understands that he wants to use his abilities to inspire, asking Zuras, the first eternal, to help him abdicate his role as leader after the trial.
Finally, Starfox allows humans to enter the home of the eternal, teleporting them to his home and welcomes them with an inspiring phrase that Thanos would never say: “love will save us all”.
