The Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe is expanding more and more on Disney Plus and in theaters. That is why we will be able to enjoy up to 9 deliveries in total in the year 2022.
The movie Spider-Man: No Way Home has closed 2021 being a tremendous success, but that does not stop the Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe since there are planned up to 3 movies and 6 series for the Disney Plus platform that can be seen in 2022. So fans of the saga will be happy because they will not have time to get bored.
Everything that the UCM will release in 2022:
- Moon Knight. Marc Spector will gain the powers of an ancient Egyptian god and fight against beings of the night such as vampires and werewolves. The cast includes Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, Gaspard Ulliel and May Calamawy.
- Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. The sequel to the Sorcerer Supreme from Marvel Studios will be released on May 6, 2022 and will have many cameos and surprises for fans.
- She-Hulk. Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) the first of Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) will gain Hulk powers from a blood transfusion. So everything will get complicated in this comedy about trials and lawyers.
- I am Groot. This series of Disney Plus It will be made up of short films starring Groot and other peculiar characters from Marvel Studios.
- What if…? The animated series will return with more shocking episodes in its second season about universes and parallel realities where anything crazy can happen.
- Thor: Love and Thunder. The fourth installment of the God of Thunder from Marvel Studios will bring together great characters such as Jane Foster, Valkyrie, the Guardians of the Galaxy and will present a villain as impressive as Gorr, the butcher of the gods. The premiere is scheduled for July 8, 2022.
- Ms Marvel. This series will introduce a new character such as Kamala Khan played by Iman Vellani. She is a super fan of Captain Marvel who will get powers and who will also be an important part of the movie The Marvels that will be released in 2023.
- Secret Invasion. This series will present a war with the Skrulls that have been infiltrating the Earth. The cast highlights Emilia Clarke who will play a character whose identity is not yet known.
- Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. This film will be very emotional because it will pay tribute to the character T’Challa and the actor Chadwick Boseman. For now, many details of what Marvel Studios is preparing for this story have not been revealed, but it will surely impact as much as the first installment of 2018.
