The writer of the Loki series has revealed what differentiates two such shocking villains from Marvel Studios as Kang and Thanos.
The series of Loki introduced a spectacular villain to Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe. Since behind all the TVA and the sacred timeline was Kang the Conqueror (Immortus), his appearance was so shocking that many consider him to be at the level of Thanos. A villain who tormented the Avengers and even went as far as wiping out half life in the universe.
In a recent interview, Michael waldron, lead writer for Loki and that he has also taken care of Doctor Strange and the multiverse of madness (2022), has revealed the great difference between Kang the Conqueror by Jonathan Majors and Thanos by Josh Brolin.
“The exciting thing about adding that character to the Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe was creating a totally different energy than Thanos is. Since she is measured and principled, almost like a monk in his bad aspirations. And obviously, “The One Who Remains” (Kang) is a much more fiery, chaotic and narcissistic presence, and that was a lot of fun. “
Soon we will see this great villain again.
Attention SPOILERS. The series of Loki leaves things very exciting, as it breaks the “Sacred timeline” and a new war breaks out in the “Multiverse”. What’s more, Kang He is no longer hiding and is in charge of the TVA, but we must not forget that we will also see him in the Marvel Studios film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023). So we can think that he is the great villain of Phase 4 and that it will be as difficult to defeat as Thanos. It would be quite fascinating if they faced each other, but that will not happen, at least not for now.
