The official start of the Gamescom is today, and on the opening night it was made official the rumored Marvel Midnight Suns. So far it had been leaked that a Marvel-themed game was in development by Fireaxis, the team in charge of XCOM. Marvel Midnight Suns is a turn-based RPG game and is being directed by Jake Solomon, designer of XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM 2. The big draw in this game is the heroes and anti-heroes, many of whom have never worked together in any story previous Marvel.
Firaxis has confirmed that Iron Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Blade, Nico Minoru, Magik, Robbie Reyes as Ghost Rider, and Wolverine will be playable. There will be a total of 13 allied heroes, coming from the Avengers, X-Men, Runaways and others.

Marvel Midnight Suns announced
2K Games plans to bring Marvel’s Midnight Suns to current and past generation consoles in March 2022. In Marvel’s Midnight Suns, players will take on the role of The Hunter, an entirely new character designed in collaboration with Marvel Comics. The Hunter is there to replace the player, and will be highly customizable in both appearance and combat ability. Solomon said that there are more than 40 different superpowers available to the player.
