The Spanish athlete Maria Vicente, who had finished twelfth on the first day of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics heptathlon with 3,736 points, after being the fastest of all in 200, resumed the combine this Thursday with a 6.18 long jump. The record, far from his best mark (6.54), gave him 905 points that allow him to go up two places in the general classification to place himself tenth with 4,641 points.

The Dutch Anouk Vetter continues to lead the contest, with 4,965 points, followed, just four points, by the defending champion, the Belgian Nafissatou Thiam.
