The series of Saints row It has been characterized by offering a gigantic open world, similar to GTA, but with a greater emphasis on an extremely ridiculous narrative and game style. The last major installment in the series arrived in 2013, and in recent years we’ve seen a few re-releases of the third and fourth titles, giving the public hope that a fifth game is in development. However, it seems that next week we will have new information about this franchise, but you better not wait Saints Row V.
The present day, the official site of Saints Row It has updated, removing any trace of your previous games, and leaving an image where you can read “Rebooting”. Although at the moment there is no official information, it seems that this series will not have a fifth numerical installment, and instead a reboot will be chosen. The page still names Deep Sliver as the publisher of the franchise and Volition as its developer.
Similarly, Geoff Keighley shared a tweet with the same image found on the Saints Row site, noting that during Gamescom 2021 Opening Night Live, which will take place next Wednesday, August 25 at 1:00 PM (Mexico City time), we will have more information about this series.
5 days until @gamescom #OpeningNightLive on Wednesday.

Thus, It would not be unreasonable to think that the Saints Row reboot will be released next week. Hopefully more information, such as the release date for this title, will be shared in the coming days. In related topics, here you can check our review of Saints Row: The Third Remastered.
