The sales season has arrived in Mexico and with it various discounts that brands are applying for the Hot Sale. One of these is Viva Aerobús, which joined this campaign along with other airlines by offering up to 70 percent discounts on various flights, but since Monday, May 29, consumers have denounced the fall of their website, so they do not They have managed to apply the promotions of these dates.
With the intention of promoting purchases through electronic commerce, many brands have joined the initiative presented by the Mexican Association of Online Sales (AMVO), the Hot Sale. It is worth mentioning that discount and offer strategies are not new, since it is a striking way to attract consumers to a brand’s point of sale and build loyalty with its services and products.
In this sense, specialists in the field maintain that the impact of promotions on the customer affects factors that can vary from growing the customer base, favorably inclining the purchase decision and increasing traffic to points of sale.
Data that is revealed in the “Consumer Tracking” study, carried out by the consulting firm ACNielsen, which showed that seven out of ten consumers prefer the promotions of the leading brands.
The same source highlighted that almost eight out of 10 consumers consider themselves bargain seekers, where four out of 10 are oriented towards stocking offers, considering that it implies future savings.
Long live Aerobús with flights of 31 pesos for Hot Sale
This Monday, May 29, a new season of the Hot Sale began, where various brands registered to offer various offers in their electronic commerce.
One of these brands was Viva Aerobús, which during the 2023 Hot Sale joined the promotions offering flights with up to a 70 percent discount.
According to the airline’s promotional season, future tourists will be able to make their payments through different banks, highlighting ease of payment to account holders of Citibanamex, Soctiabank, HSBC, BBVA, Pay Pal, among others.
Also, the specifications of the brand, the only thing that its users have to do to take advantage of these offers is to enter the Viva Aerobús website, search and choose the destination that they like the most, review the type of discount or offer that it has and If it suits you, buy the flight at the best price and travel to the tourist destination of your choice.
After starting the date of these promotions, several interested consumers have carried out the steps that the brand shared, but many denounce that the airline’s website is out of service due to alleged “maintenance”, for which consumers have come to social networks to denounce what they describe as “misleading advertising”.

Carrying out a check, the Merca 2.0 team entered the Viva Aerobús website and as the internists report, the page is under maintenance, where they mention “We will be back soon. We are working to offer you a better online experience. If you need assistance, please contact our customer service ”, he adds.
In this context, we request the brand’s position to find out what its response is to the various complaints on social networks such as Twitter, but until the closing of this note we have not received responses.
This complaint is not the first that this Hot Sale has been registered, since a consumer also exhibited what for him was not a discount offered by Liverpool in one of his publications.
And this is how consumers increasingly join in sharing the bad experience that a brand makes them live, regardless of whether it is in the top of their favorite companies.
