If you like opera and you are under 35, you are in luck. It happens to many of us: we love this theatrical genre, but the price (quite elitist) of tickets for this type of performance does not allow us to go to iconic places such as the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
Luckily, a new edition of ‘Liceu Under 35’ will be held next May. This initiative proposes exclusive previews for the youngest audience (under 35, although youth is carried in the heart, dear) to a cost suitable for all pockets, 20 euros.
Take note of the chosen dates. On May 20 at 7:00 p.m. we can enjoy the opera ‘Wozzeck’, a mixture of music and drama that tells the story of a soldier victim of the cruelty of the army’s experiments. On the other hand, on May 26 at the same time, the dance show ‘From Scheherazade to me, Carmen’ will take place, a choreographic work focused on female empathy.
Attention, the thing does not end here: this edition adds an after party in the Foyer, a new space located under the stalls of the main hall of the theater. Until well into midnight we can give it our all with a DJ set, food, drinks and lots and lots of dancing. There is no longer an excuse to say that we have been (at least once) to the Liceu.
