Lion triumphed over Los Angeles F.C. with a score of 2-1 in the first final of the Concacaf Champions League or concachampions. The ‘Fiera’ took the victory in the first match, with scores from William Tesillo (8′) and Ángel Mena (45’+5′), but lost a 2-0 lead due to a controversial goal in the last minute from their rivals, at the feet of Denis Bouanga, giving the MLS team a chance to fight for the title on their home turf. The return match will be played this Sunday, June 4, at the California Stadium.
