We cannot be one of the crowd, we must show that we are valuable and continuously improve, knowledge soon becomes obsolete.
How can we improve our learning?
- Avoiding infoxication
- Reading
- developing new skills
We must reorient our work career to have greater opportunities to get a job. Therefore, we make a serious mistake assuming that what we learned at university will be enough to face our entire working life.
There are no ideal scenarios, we can find ourselves with challenges such as:
- sticky floor
- Glass roof
- job mobbing
- Discrimination in the work area
It is necessary to redesign our professional career to adapt to work environments and improve our employability.
Vocational retraining prevents people from losing their jobs due to automation and to prepare for new jobs, we must improve our professional qualifications or upskilling.
In my opinion, training should be constant throughout our professional life, to update our knowledge and be prepared for changes in our business sector.
Let’s change the focus and define our new professional profile, we have to assimilate that our knowledge will be obsolete if we don’t constantly update ourselves.
Professional recycling is a current reality and we must be prepared for the changes that will come.
Therefore, let’s adapt to change and face the challenges that lie ahead, age should not be a labor obstacle, on the contrary, it should be your competitive advantage, as long as you keep up to date.
The gaps in our Curriculum Vitae do not give recruiters a good image, so let’s keep ourselves trained, even while we are unemployed, that will keep us current in the labor market.
If you want to relocate yourself in the labor market, improve your work skills, there is currently a whole range of alternatives.
