From October 25 to November 2, 2022, the 15th edition of the Morbid Film Fest, the horror, fantasy and science fiction film festival based in Mexico City. However, like the previous year, the film event will have a hybrid format, so that a greater number of the public can enjoy part of its diversified programming.
Below we tell you everything you need to know about the programming, the venues and other details about this annual cinematographic meeting, aimed at those who love to see their most hair-raising, disturbing and twisted nightmares reflected on the screen.
Selection of feature films
The programming of the Mórbido Film Fest 2022 is made up of 30 feature films from different nationalities. Three of them will have their world premiere at the festival, and another 15, their premiere in Latin America. The opening function of the event is the exorcist, the most recent horror film by filmmaker Adrián García Bogliano, of whom Mórbido also organized a small retrospective. On the other hand, there will also be screenings of the iconic holy blood by director Alejandro Jodorowsky, in honor of his late son Axel Jodorowsky, star of the film.

Where to see the feature films of the Morbid Film Fest 2022?
The face-to-face functions of the Mórbido Film Fest 2022 will be distributed among the following exhibition spaces in Mexico City:

In digital format, the platform Cinepolis KLIC will rent seven of the selected feature films, from November 1 to 6, 2022. The films contemplated are The Macabre Library of Dr. Lucchetti, The Valley of the Concavenator, Hidden in the Woods 2, we are invisible, Cult of VHS, Rondo and Bob Y Hundreds of Beavers. The rental cost for each one will be $66.6 pesos.
Selection of short films
There are 79 short films that are part of the Mórbido Film Fest 2022, from 22 countries. These titles will be broadcast on the regional channel morbid TV and on its mobile application, from October 25 to November 22 of the current year. “Let’s Spook” video game event
In association with Ventana Sur and its branch specialized in the Maquinitas video game market, Mórbido Film Fest 2022 included among its activities “Let’s Spook”a call for horror video game developers, whose winners will present their respective projects to the public at the FARO Cosmos in Mexico City, on October 29.
