SANTIAGO, Aug 9 (Reuters) – Chile’s LATAM Airlines reported losses of $ 769.6 million in the second quarter on Monday, still impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
LATAM’s result compares with a loss of $ 890 million in the same period of 2020.
It also informed the local securities regulator that the group’s total revenue rose 87% to $ 826 million between April and June.
The airline, born from the merger of the Chilean LAN with the Brazilian TAM in 2012, has operating units in Chile, Brazil, Colombia and Peru.
