Lancia will be a 100% electric brand in 2028

A vehicle that will be offered exclusively in electric format.
Lancia has confirmed that from 2026 it will only introduce battery electric cars and, two years later, in 2028, the company will stop selling cars with internal combustion engines. This way, It will be in 2028 when Lancia becomes an electric car brand. And precisely in that year another new electric model will be unveiled.
Through a digital campaign, the video «Punch» has been released. This audiovisual document led by Napolitano has served, in addition to underlining what the roadmap will be, to point out one of the keys to the design language that will be used in these future Lancia models.
The new Lancia range and its commitment to electrification
Once all these new models hit the market, Lancia will have a range made up of three electric vehicles. A range that will allow the brand cover 50% of the market. Lancia will focus on a timeless design, reinterpreting it in a modern and contemporary way, working on some of its most iconic elements.
The style of the “goblet”, which shapes the front of all the company’s models, will be revised thanks to lighting elements. Recycled materials will also play a leading role. The Lancia’s design team will also draw inspiration from the most iconic classics of the company.
