Chocolate Granny
One of the great icons of ‘La Azteca’ is the chocolate granny, with which we usually accompany our moments during the winter or on a rainy day. Who has not chope a bread in a frothy and hot cup of this chocolate?
Another of the elements that mark the essence of this product is the image of that loving and homely granny.
The image of Chocolate Granny
In the first instance, the image of Chocolate Abuelita was a relative of the González Barragán brothers, who appeared dressed in a pink shawl.
It was in the year 1973 when the company decided to change the image of the product. So from then until today, Sara García, an icon of Mexican cinema and also from Orizaba, became the face of Chocolate Abuelita.
