With this, Three New Splatoon Amiibo Revealed, which will be available in the “holiday” season. By scanning them, players can save their favorite gear combinations as Fresh Fits for easy outfit swapping. The figures also come with exclusive gear, and it is possible to take in-game photos together with them.
Regarding post-launch content, every three months for the next three years we will see a new catalog with more weapons and cosmetic items, all for free. Alongside this, game modes known as X-Battle and League Battle will be added, the latter offering map changes every two hours. Lastly, it was mentioned that a lot of paid DLC will be available in the future. Although at the moment there are no details on this point, we will surely have a substantial expansion, which will probably be available to all Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack users.
