The KLAY token of the South Korean native blockchain network, Klaytn Network is the big winner of the day this Monday according to the data reflected by the Coinmarketcap price indicator.
KLAY’s price has grown up to 22% in the last few hours to lead the Top Earners rankingwell above the MATIC token of the Polygon network focused on L2 scaling solutions.
Klaytn is a public blockchain network launched in 2019 by the decentralized wing of Kakao, the largest mobile platform in South Korea. The network focuses on offering a standard for decentralized applications (dApps) focused on gaming, Web3 and the metaverse.
Axie Infinity: The big loser of the day
On the other hand, the market reference price indicator, Coinmarketcap places the AXS token of the popular play-to-earn game Axie Infinity as the big loser of the day at the time of writing this post.
According to data from Coinmarketcap, the AXS token has dropped up to five percent in its price in the last few hoursto trade slightly below the band of nine dollars per token.
AXS is the governance token that powers the ecosystem of the P2E game Axie Infinity based on NFT pets launched by Sky Mavis in 2018.
The game has been a pioneer in the GameFi movement and is, together with CryptoKitties, the great disruptors of the movement of blockchain games based on non-fungible tokens. that managed to become a means of livelihood for many users in emerging economies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
