Jean Paul Gaultier has starred in some of the most famous moments in fashion history. Now, some of those clothes (or replicas of them) could be ours. Because the firm owned by Puig will start selling collaborations with other designers and reissues of iconic garments from their catwalks from the 1980s and 1990s.
The highlight of this ad is clothing rental vintage. According The Guardian, now Jean Paul Gaultier will allow customers rent some of the most iconic pieces from the 80’s and 90’s, like Madonna’s conical satin bra or the well-known cage dress. All this for prices ranging between 150 euros for accessories and 700 euros for evening dress.
Added to this is the sale of fragrances and a novelty that is a breath of fresh air in the world of fashion: it cannot be filtered by gender on the web. They do this to reaffirm the gender character of the brand and strengthen their online presence by completely separating themselves from the competition. Style of enfant terrible, always in his own way.
