Months and years have passed since the severance of relations between Google and Huawei, a period that has been full of uncertainties of all kinds around the brand founded in China. But now, the launch of the new Operating System of the company is already here, although at the moment only in the Asian country.
Many users wonder when this update will arrive in Spain, but the truth is that it is still unknown. From Huawei they are working hard to replace Android, although this is not an easy task, since most of us consumers are used to the latter. This means that HarmonyOS must be the salvation of the company Internationally speaking, so they must put all the meat on the grill, but is it really like that?
Control it all
From the company they have been very redundant in that HarmonyOS is not and is not intended to be a substitute for Android. What they mean by this is that this new system will not only be implemented in phones or tablets, but they aspire to create something bigger and for a greater number of devices.
For this reason, Huawei has placed great emphasis on the control Panel. A novelty that is based on being able to control everything from any terminal, either from our smartphone or smart watch.
In this way we will have quick access to the rest of the devices that are connected to the network. With just one touch on the phone we can control appliances or light bulbs, for example.
Better performance
The purpose of creating a new Operating System is not only to offer users a pleasant and renewed navigation, but also optimize performance of each device through different improvements.
The company has stated that it has improved internal storage management, in addition to increasing the rendering system with DGraphic Engine technology, which uses the CPU and GUP to offer smoother performance in video games.
Not all that glitters is gold
This update is the last burning nail that the brand must grasp to survive in the international market. In China, sales have not suffered, however, it remains to be seen what happens in the rest of the countries.
Users are very used to using applications as basic as Gmail, WhatsApp or Youtube. These are softwares that we will not find in Huawei phones, so the company must be aware of this and offer alternatives that meet these needs. But, without a doubt, the lack of apps can be a stone in the way, so it is normal that the exact date of arrival of HarmonyOS in Europe is still unknown. A priori it is impossible to know if it will have a place in the international market, but the novelties that it brings with it are to be taken into account.
