The Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) reported the cancellation of 7.82% in toll rates on highways operated by Federal Roads and Bridges (Capufe) and of the National Infrastructure Fund (Fonadin).

These rates were expected to come into force on March 1, 2023, but this increase would only apply to communication routes operated by private concessionaires.

He also added that any change will be communicated at the appropriate time.

However, the SICT did not specify whether this measure would also apply to highway sections operated by private concessionaires.

In the first months of the year, the adjustments of the amounts are made, as established in the Concession Titles, by the Concessionaires of the Federal Toll Road Network, with prior authorization from the SICT.

The SICT had indicated that it would strengthen supervision so that concessionaires offer better conditions of safety, comfort, and service throughout the Federal Highway Network.
