A few minutes ago, Apple released the fifth beta for developers of its major operating systems for iPhone and iPad: iOS 15 and iPadOS 15. As is traditional, two weeks have passed compared to the previous beta, the fourth, which was released on 27 of July. At the moment if you are a public beta tester, you will have to wait since the public beta has not been released at the moment, being surely reserved for tomorrow.
Install this fifth beta
It must be taken into account that in order to enjoy this fifth beta to be installed, different situations may arise. The first of them is that you already have a previous beta, since you will simply have to enter Settings> General> Software update. In this part of the operating system you can find the new beta version available to download and install. This is the traditional system that can be used in the case of doing a normal update from a stable version. There are also numerous tips to keep in mind in order to install the beta of iOS 15 or iPadOS 15.
Before proceeding with the installation, we must bear in mind that we are talking about a version that is unstable. This means that, as in any beta of any operating system, they can be presented Relevant bugs. These can include, for example, an application not opening properly or an unexpected restart occurs. All these facts are really uncomfortable and can prevent you from using your iPhone normally. This makes you have to think carefully if it is worth having the beta installed because of the negative parts that it can end up carrying in your overall experience.
Currently in this beta we have not been able to find any notable news. This is due to the fact that the installation is being carried out on the devices and that is why as the hours go by, details of these news will be published, if any, in La Manzana Mordida. Keep in mind that as time goes by and the betas will see less notable news. The ultimate goal is to have a version as stable as possible when it ends up being released to all users.
How long will iOS 15 take to arrive?
On Apple’s own website it is specified that the final versions of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 will arrive at the station autumn. No specific date is specified since everything will depend on the evolution of the betas and their stability. Everything indicates that the new iPhone 13 will finally be released together in mid-September, this being a tradition that for now has been respected throughout the years when looking back at the calendar.
But until this time, some intermediate versions of iOS 14 can still be released. The latest rumors that are published suggest that Apple could be working on iOS 14.8. This is something that may be somewhat unusual, but it can certainly end up being the most useful tool for solving vulnerabilities. This is something that will need to be resolved in the next few weeks before the release of iOS 15.
