Video games are considered an important escape tool to get out of the day to day and engage in adventures, cathartic violence, relaxing routine or, simply, pretending that we are a goat. The possibilities they give us are so many that it is impossible to fulfill all of them in a single life. However, video games are also a source of inspiration to develop other kinds of things outside of them. We have an example in the map of San Andreas, the state where GTA V takes place that we can appreciate below.

As we can see, the artist Dom Riccobene has fine-tuned every point and edge to the millimeter. The 3D map shows the topography of the region in the smallest detail, although the result of this are the more than 400 hours of work that he has had to dedicate until he has been able to terminate his work. By separating the map into up to 24 quadrants, to adapt the area of action of his 3D printer, he has thus managed to create one of the most laborious and faithful representations from the GTA V map.
It is truly remarkable the imagination that the Grand Theft Auto community has displayed around this successful title. Not for less, it already has more than 150 million units sold. On the other hand, male and female players have shown their talent for create totally new elements across the world that Rockstar devised. Not only do elements such as online racing circuits or challenges almost impossible to achieve stand out, but some creators have given the game a spin to give it a roleplay mechanic that has become especially popular in recent years.
GTA V does not have the days numbered, far from it. Faced with the absence of news regarding GTA VI, the Next-Gen version of GTA V will arrive in a short time, one of the few titles that has managed to be released for three consecutive generations.
