Football player Takashi inui He has signed for the Japanese Cerezo Osaka after the end of his contract with the Spanish Eibar and will return to play with the western Japanese team from which he left for Europe a decade ago to expand his career.
The midfielder will wear number 23 at his former club, the team announced on Tuesday, in which the player hopes to “do his best” to offer “good football” to the fans, he said in a press release.
“The Bundesliga, the dream days in the Spanish LaLiga, the World Cup battle in Russia. I have gained a lot of experience in these 10 years, but my desire to be better in football has not faded,” added the footballer.
InuiThe 33-year-old now left Cerezo Osaka in the summer of 2011 to sign for German VfL Bochum, who were then in the second division of the German league.
A year later, the Japanese footballer would join Eintracht Frankfurt, where he would play for three seasons in the Bundesliga before landing at Éibar, where he remained between 2015 and 2018.
The midfielder would also serve at Real Betis and Alavés before returning to Éibar in 2019, where this summer he expired his contract after the Gipuzkoan team was relegated to second.
Inui he scored a total of 16 goals in his 166 games during the six seasons he played in LaLiga.
The footballer was a prominent figure for the Japanese team during the 2018 World Cup in Russia, in which he scored two goals in the round of 16.
The player, a native of Shiga prefecture (northeast of Osaka), has accumulated six goals in the 36 games played with the senior team.
