For some years now, Ubisoft has been famous for publishing games all cut from the same open world pattern that guarantee dozens and dozens of hours of play, although that may take away some of the freshness or personal identity of their games. Still following that line and taking a very clear inspiration in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Immortals: Fenyx Rising was quite a surprise coming from the French company. Now his producer works on a new unannounced project that could be a sequel.
As Fabian Shaikh shared through his Twitter account, producer Andrée-Anne Boisvert , from Ubisoft Quebec, works on a game to be announced from April 2021according to your profile LinkedIn. Boisvert was Immortals associate producer: Fenyx Rysing before moving on to be the game’s lead producer and take charge of its post-launch proposition. He also held several important positions in the production of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Dozens of games in development at Ubisoft
According to the latest report from the well-known Tom Henderson, the one quoted by Shaikh from Twitter, Ubisoft would have more than 20 games in development At this moment. Including sequels to well-known games, such as new IPs and other types of spin-offs from established franchises. Among them, there would be a sequel to Immortals: Fenyx Rising to which the French company would have already given the green light.
Not that Immortals: Fenyx Rising was Ubisoft’s biggest commercial success in recent years, but a Action-adventure RPG in a fantasy world With an almost childlike aesthetic, it doesn’t seem like a bad bet for the catalog of the French company, which lately has been a lot of multiplayer shooters.
