An IKEA branch in China decided to close after a new case of Covid-19 was confirmed among customers, while the rest fled from it.
The arrival of the pandemic caused by Covid-19, in March 2020, marked the beginning of one of the most complex periods in history and, without a doubt, one of the most worrying health emergencies in recent years.

And it is that, in that country, a “zero Covid” policy has been carried out, a reason that prompted the store to close abruptly, causing panic among the clientele.
Compared to the situation in Mexico, where, according to recent official data, just over a thousand new cases of Covid-19 were reported and the measures have been easing, in China, constant tests are carried out, massive confinements in the event of any positive case and for the implementation of health codes in order to stop the spread of viruses.
Given this and taking into account what happened at IKEA, the authorities issued a statement informing that the store and the affected area are under a “closed circuit.” In addition, the people who were inside the branch will have to spend two days in quarantine and five more days of health surveillance.
