The market is growing and it is becoming easier to find affordable electric motorcycles. The Urbet Gadiro E-125 is a good example of this. Its focus is clearly urban, but it also allows you to do kilometers on the road when necessary.
We can define the Urbet Gadiro E-125 as an economical, naked and urban electric motorcycle. But the truth is that there are many nuances within this definition, since this model of the company from Malaga seeks to be, above all, practical.
For some time now, the electric motorcycle market is growing a lot and more and more interpretations of what a vehicle of this type should be are emerging. The Urbet Gadiro is very clear about what it intends: to offer the user an economical means of transport that allows them to move around the city in a very comfortable way, but without giving up going out on the road if required.
Urbet Gadiro, an electric 125
This is how the manufacturer defines it, since the Gadiro is not a moped, but a motorcycle with power similar to that of a 125 cc combustion.
Thanks to that 3 kW brushless electric motor and its 90km/h top speedit is possible to circulate through it on all kinds of roads as long as we have the necessary driving license for it.
Of course, you will have already guessed that the features of the Gadiro are not its best weapon, so in reality his ideal environment is the city. Its size and agility also contribute to this, which together with its electric motor allow it to move wonderfully in the demanding and frenetic urban environment.
Autonomy is another point that makes the Gadiro more recommendable for the city, since its 72 V and 35 amp battery allows a modest maximum mileage of up to 80 kilometers, 160 if ordered with a second battery. These, in addition, have an estimated useful life of 2,500 charge cycles and a 3-year warranty.
The 89 kilograms of weight of this Spanish motorcycle must be stopped by two disc brakes associated with 17-inch wheelsallowing the Urbet Gadiro a total load of up to 160 kilograms.
It is obvious, with the Gadiro you are not going to have a performance motorcycle, but an economical means of transport that will meet all your demands in urban day-to-day life. Do not expect outstanding finishes or attractive equipment, but do expect an interesting electric motorcycle at a very competitive price: from 3,500 euros for the one-battery model and from 4,400 for the one that includes two units (both prices without the MOVES Plan included).
