It’s official, the new hyundai grand i10 from 2023 is now on sale at Mexico. This new model manufactured by the company of South Korean origin, presents a great addition around the security system. Its about Electrical Stability Control (ESC)a tool that the previous year’s model did not include.
According to the official website of Hyundai Mexico, “depending on the movements of the steering wheel in relation to the rotation of the wheels the Electric Stability Control is responsible for monitoring the engine, the braking system and the direction in order to reduce skidding when braking suddenly or in sharp curves”.
This security tool adds to the list of components from previous models: the Hill Assist Control (HAC) that activates the brakes to prevent the vehicle from rolling back on high ground and the Antilock Braking System (ABS) that prevents skidding and retains the ability to control slippery surfaces with stable braking.
It also includes the airbags that provide additional protection for the driver and front passenger in the event of a frontal impact. The structure of the Grand i10 has anticorrosive steel and an innovative design for reinforce the rigidity and robustness of the bodyworkas well as a controlled deformation zone to minimize repair costs.
Under the hood, the 2023 Grand i10 is no different from the previous model. still have a 1.2 liter 4 cylinder engine capable of generating power 83 horsepower with which you accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.1 seconds and reach a 167km/h top speed.
