Great news for the entire HUMANKIND gaming community is that new winds are lifting the HUMANKIND flying machine: the Vitruvian update and the Da Vinci event are now available. Painter, sculptor, architect, inventor, military engineer and draftsman, Leonardo da Vinci is the ultimate symbol of the Renaissance.
Something that seems quite curious to us is that, endowed with a curious mind and a brilliant intellect, his universal genius continues to fascinate countless artists and engineers five centuries later. Here’s what you can expect from today’s update and patch:
VITRUVIO UPDATE
Here are some of the main components of the Vitruvian update:
- Notifications can now be set to not automatically expand, even if the ribbon is open.
- Improved principles screen to make it easier to choose a historical religion and the AI can now adopt historical religions.
- Restricted Builder and Scientist active skills to one city at a time, and increased payout for Esthete and Merchant active skills.
- Trebuchets are now available until the end of the Industrial Age.
DA VINCI EVENT
Considered ahead of his time, Leonardo da Vinci tried to decipher the secrets of nature and physics, dreamed of making humanity fly and imagined the future. The visionary engineer produced many ingenious designs for warfare and a variety of highly original flying machines. It’s time to sharpen the spirit, face new challenges and earn exclusive Symbols and Decorations, as well as unlock the personality of Leonardo Da Vinci!
CHALLENGES
Chapter 1
- Owning a biplane as an early modern culture.
- Destroy fortifications in 10 tiles during the same game.
- Own a city with more than 1000 industry and 1000 science per turn.
Episode 2
- With the Venetians, trigger the Science endgame condition.
- It has a city with cultural wonders of the six eras.
- Achieve the maximum of the 4 Ideological Axes, on each side.
Unlike previous events in the beloved video game, both chapters will unlock at once. You have until May 16 to complete all challenges and unlock all available rewards, so there’s plenty to do with this new event dedicated to Da Vinci.
