EMUI 10.1, Huawei’s Android overlay, will be deployed on many of its smartphones later this summer. Today we have the list of affected terminals. There are twenty in total. Check if your phone will be updated.
The update of the EMUI 10.1 overlay is already installed natively on the Huawei P40, the P40 Pro as well as on the P40 Pro +. However, owners of recent smartphones from the Chinese brand wonder when they will have they too are entitled to this update. Start of the answer today.
Huawei has indeed sent an email to the Android Authority site detailing the terminals that were going to go on EMUI 10.1 internationally (the update is already deployed in China). This list is not accompanied by a date, but Huawei assures that the first waves of updates will take place this June. Some Honor phones will also be entitled to this new overlay.

If you have one of these models, you should receive the update soon. It adds a number of interesting features, especially at the level of the voice assistant. Google is indeed replaced by the house assistant of the brand: Celia.
Other new features are also on the menu, such as an improvement to the MeeTime video conference application, which allows calls to be made in 1080p. An overlay that tries to compensate for the absence of the Google suite on these smartphones. It is recalled that Huawei is currently under an embargo on the part of the United States.
Note that this list is not final. Here we have just the first smartphones that will upgrade to EMUI 10.1. If your phone does not appear above, do not panic! Huawei will most certainly be communicating on the other affected models in the weeks or months to come.
