This week finally arrived Elden Ring from FromSoftware and players on PlayStation, Xbox and PC can now traverse the most difficult open world of any video game. Fortunately FromSoftware gives us enough tools to survive the dangers of The Lands Between, as Elden Ring has more combat options than any other Soulsborne game, and one of them is to attack with enchantments and sorceries.
Although it is possible to learn spells and charms from the beginning of your adventure in Elden Ring, to be able to carry them out it is necessary to have a staff equipped in any of your hands. Unless you choose Astrologer or Prophet as your starting class, chances are your first contact with enchantments and sorcery will be when an enemy uses them against you.

You can equip up to two enchantments and spells at the same time from a grace spot, and switching between them requires pressing the D-Pad up. Elden Ring enchantments and sorceries consume PC, so you have to pay attention to your bar and manage your life flasks and CP intelligently. Once you have your staff equipped, press the attack buttons to cast the equipped spell.
So there you have it, in Elden Ring the only thing you need to be able to use spells or enchantments is to equip a staff and have CP. As you progress you will meet NPCs who teach you new spells to increase your combat and magical healing abilities. Elden Ring is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PlayStation 5, and PC. In my review of Elden Ring I said that it is everything we could hope for in an open world game of FromSoftware and has had an incredible reception from the rest of the critics.
