Cinnamon recipes for the perfect hair

1. Cinnamon with honey and olive oil
This mixture is ideal to hydrate and strengthen hair. Thanks to the fact that olive oil is an excellent moisturizer, together with honey, it helps to disinfect the area. This is stated in this study by the Universidad de La Frontera in Temuco (Chile).
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon (15 gr.) Of ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml.) Of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons (50 gr.) Of honey
Preparation and application
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and stir until it forms a smooth paste.
- Wash your hair as you do every day.
- After the shampoo, apply the cinnamon mixture with oil and honey to all the hair from the roots to the ends.
- Let it rest for 15 minutes and rinse preferably with hot water.
- Apply a treatment or conditioner, if you commonly do it.
2. Cinnamon and onion
According to this study carried out by the National Dong Hwa University (China), using cinnamon as an infusion is excellent for promoting hair growth, in addition, it helps it grow strong and shiny.
Ingredients:
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 preferably red onion
- Water
Preparation and application
- Place a pot with water on the fire and add the garlic, the diced onion and the cinnamon.
- Let it boil for about 15 minutes and let it cool.
- Wash your hair with shampoo and rinse it as you regularly do.
- Apply this infusion on all hair, especially on the scalp and massage gently.
- Let the mixture sit for half an hour and rinse with plenty of water.
- Repeat these steps for a week to achieve a better result.
