With the arrival of iOS 14, Apple offers us the possibility of completely hiding application pages from our home screen. Thanks to this measure, in combination with the App Library, we can access apps comfortably without having to scroll through multiple pages to find them.
Hide but not delete
Before proceeding it is important to note that hidden pages are not removed. Neither the page itself, which is still available for when we want to unhide it, is deleted nor are the apps it contains, which will continue to be installed and displayed in the App Library. Exposed to this we see what are the steps to follow.
- Press and hold in an empty space on the home screen.
- When all the icons start to shake we touch the dotted indicator above the dock.
- We uncheck the tic under the pages we want to hide.
- We tap OK.
- We hit OK again.
As simple as that. Since the App Library is always on the far right of our app pages, being able to reduce their number will allow easier access. Keep in mind that we must maintain at least one application page.
Little by little with the use of our iPhone, too many applications can accumulate on the device. In iOS 14, Apple, aware of the situation, makes several tools available to us so that we can enjoy the app that interests us at all times without having to fill our phone with them, from the app pages to the App Clip.
