Who can apply for the scholarship?
The scholarship is aimed at students of the careers of the Academic Council of the Physico-mathematics and Engineering Area of the following campuses:
- Science Faculty
- Faculty of Chemistry
- Faculty of Engineering
- Faculty of Higher Studies Cuautitlan
- Faculty of Higher Studies Acatlán
- Faculty of Higher Studies Aragon
- Faculty of Higher Studies Zaragoza
- ENES Morelia
- ENES Juriquilla
- ENES Merida
- Renewable Energy Institute
- Center for Nanosciences and Nanotechnology and Center for Applied Physics and Advanced Technology
- Institute of Applied Mathematics and Systems Research
- National School of Earth Sciences
- Schools that have races belonging to the aforementioned Council.
How much is the support?
The scholarship consists of an economic support of 950 pesos, with a maximum total payment of up to 11,400 pesos, considering the validity of the scholarship from September 2022 to August 2023.
Requirements
Under the aforementioned considerations, students interested in participating in the beneficiary selection process must also comply with the following:
- Being Mexican.
- Be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree from the academic system of the Academic Council of Physicomathematics and Engineering Areas of the aforementioned campuses.
- Be a regular student, that is, have covered the number of credits corresponding to the study plan of the career, from the first semester or year until immediately prior to this call.
- Have a general average equal to or greater than 8.5 (except first-year students).
- Have a per capita family monthly income of up to 8 minimum wages.
- Not having any equivalent benefit (same purpose) of an economic type or in kind granted for their education by a public or private organization at the time of requesting the scholarship and during the time in which they receive the benefits of the program.
- Not having been sanctioned in accordance with the provisions of the University Legislation.
- Register the application for admission to the scholarship through the INTEGRA System ( https://www.integra.unam.mx ).
- Not have completed undergraduate studies, nor have a professional degree of that level or higher. This information will be confirmed with the degree status registered with the DGAE.
- In the event that the student is studying a simultaneous career, the support will be granted only to complete the first one.
- Have the Unique Population Registry Code (CURP), with an email account and with a personal and active telephone number where they can be located if necessary, and receive notifications from the banking institution with which they are will award the scholarship.
