If we talk about the dark mode in Google Assistant there will be users who will be able to say “I already had it for a long time”, and others who will say “I didn’t even know there was a dark mode for Assistant”. And it is that the dark mode of the Google assistant has been available for some time, but only for users of Pixel phones with Android 10, however, Google has taken a step forward and has already released it for more Android phones, although for now only for those who have the beta version.
And it is that the last beta of the Google application comes with this small gift for lovers of the dark mode, and although the Mountain View company has said that this feature is slowly being released, we have already been able to try it (halfway ).
How to activate dark mode in Google Assistant
If you want to activate the dark mode you have to follow the following steps:
- Register as a beta user in the Play Store from the following link and wait for the application update. Or, install the APK with the latest beta version available from the following link.
- Now go to More> Settings> General> Topic
- Click on “Dark.”
- Ready, the application and the wizard will change to dark mode.
In our case the entire application changed to a dark mode, however, when we continue to launch the wizard, it can still be seen with the white background. This is one of the disadvantages of being a beta user, as some functions may not work 100% correctly on certain devices, however, we have seen that there are users whose dark mode is fully activated in all the elements of the Google application and Assistant.
