Curved screen and the most powerful of Qualcomm
The first thing that stands out from the Honor Magic3 and Magic3 Pro is its 6.76-inch OLED screen with 2,772 x 1,344 pixels of resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. That panel supports HDR10 + and DCI-P3, has an 89-degree curvature on the sides, and features an elongated hole to house the dual front camera.
Inside both phones, as the brand itself had already confirmed, we find the latest Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 888+, with support for 5G and WiFi 6. In addition, it uses a graphene technology to reduce terminal heating and combines OS Turbo X, GPU Turbo X and Link Turbo X technologies to improve performance and connectivity.
That chipset is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage in both models. To power, they have a 4,600 mAh battery compatible with 66 W fast charging and 50W fast wireless charging. In addition, they boast IP68 certification for resistance to water and dust.
Bet on photography and sound
The main difference between the two models lies in the photographic equipment. The Honor Magic3 rides a main Sony IMX766 sensor of 50 MP f / 1.9, a 64 MP f / 1.8 monochrome sensor and a 13 MP f / 2.2 wide angle, in addition to laser focus.
The Pro variant, meanwhile, shares those three sensors, but adds a 64 MP telephoto lens f / 3.5 with optical stabilizer and 100X digital zoom, and an 8×8 dToF sensor for AF. As for the front camera, both have a main sensor with a 100-degree field of view and a ToF 3D depth sensor that performs facial recognition tasks.
Continuing with the multimedia section, the new models of the Honor Magic3 series have IMAX Enhanced certification, dual stereo speakers and DTS-X sound.
