La Bitcoinera, a store dedicated to bitcoin (BTC) and cryptocurrencies located in Honduras, announced the installation of another ATM for the cryptoactive in Tegucigalpa, the capital of the Central American nation.
The device was installed yesterday, July 4, at City Mall, one of the main shopping centers of the Honduran capital. Specifically, it is located on the second level next to the Aliss department store, according to a publication of the company on its Twitter account.
With this installation, La Bitcoinera would be reaching the third ATM put into operation in Honduras. In it you can buy and sell bitcoin for the minimum transaction of 20 lempiras (that is, USD 0.83).
Along with the tweet about the bitcoin ATM announcement, La Bitcoinera also commented that they were interested in helping people create their BTC wallets.
“We are thinking of creating opportunities for you to create your bitcoin wallet”, highlights the message on Twitter.
La Bitcoinera had announced the installation of an ATM, last December 2021, when CriptoNoticias announced that the second bitcoin ATM had been installed in Casa Quinchon, also in Tegucigalpa.
In this way, Honduras is on par with countries like Peru and Estonia which also have three bitcoin ATMs, according to data from CoinATMRadar.com.
