essence of home
For the Mexican firm Aromaria, olfactory experiences in our homes must be as intimate as they are exclusive.
It is stated that an aroma can remain in our memory for more than 10 years, a fact that Ana Patricia Licona, a Mexican psychologist, knows in depth as she is the first specialist in our country in aromachology, a science that studies the influence of odors on the human behavior.
Licona, also passionate about letters, wrote in 2010 a novel that takes the reader into the experiences of a perfumer who loses her sense of smell, an experience that allowed her to live the world of perfumery from the roots and that ended with the conception from aromaria.
With the ‘Smell the Happiness’ philosophy, the brand offers a line for the home that allows us to pamper ourselves and connect with the exclusivity of several fragrance collections from Grasse, France. The Aromaria Home family integrates the most subtle experiences to intimately enjoy those sensory moments that are well worth sharing with family or friends, or reserving them for ourselves.
The aromas of the 12 candles go from the soft notes of vanilla to accords with more character such as cedar or leather. Together with these, a proposal of 14 perfumes for interiors and one of perfumes with an antiviral active ingredient is developed. A plus? The incense options, in XL and mini versions, perfect for outdoor spaces, such as gardens or terraces, and with an artisan seal due to its preparation with organic ingredients at the hands of women from Tepoztlán, Morelos.
In a journey through the excellence of national crafts, Taller LU ‘UM presents us with a fusion of tradition and avant-garde.
Descriptions such as burnished clay trays from Los Reyes Metzontla, Puebla; manzanillo tree branch with chaquira from La Cebollera, northern Jalisco highlands; or wicker weaving lamp from Tequisquiapan, Querétaro, are some of the detailed pieces that Taller LU ́UM includes in a range of products that take us on a journey through Mexico, the artistic expression of its communities and the incidence of designers contemporaries to shape new narratives in interior design.
Since the launch of its first collection, in 2013, the objective of Taller LU ́UM was clear: to become a cultural link that sustains a bridge of collaboration and communication between populations –currently eight–, traditions, cultural identities and designers, being their attachment to sustainable processes, the diffusion of contemporary design and their alliance with the artistic work that each craft object has the equation that makes them stand out from other proposals.
Currently, its products stand out in the most avant-garde interior design projects located in top Mexican destinations. From San Miguel de Allende, Tulum and Mexico City to the Oaxacan coasts, the imprint of Taller LU ́UM is clearly appreciated as it is the art-object with which the entire atmosphere gains cohesion or defines the character of the space it crowns. With each one of the pieces, our home receives the presence of the states of Jalisco, Querétaro, Michoacán, Oaxaca or Puebla in its most avant-garde form exclaiming long live Mexico!
Welcome home! It’s time to enjoy yourself, start your work day and breathe easy with the guarantee that only Dyson offers.
Let’s accept that our houses have been transformed into small offices, meeting rooms and the ideal room to enjoy long hours of fun, cleanliness being the pillar to keep them in optimal and desirable conditions.
The provision of spaces free of harmful particles in its broadest meaning and specifications has been registered as an imperative to which the British brand Dyson has been attentive, the result being the Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde air purifiers and the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Formaldehyde. . Although they are different in size, the two share properties that our health will appreciate.
Both are sealed with HEPA filtration, a standard applied in a high shielding throughout the machine and not just the filter, which prevents dirty air from sneaking in and returning contaminants to the room.
On the other hand, they detect and destroy formaldehyde – a colorless polluting gas that causes degassing, which is found in furniture, insulating materials and cleaning products, among others – through a selective catalytic oxidation filter that destroys it at the molecular level. and breaks it down into small amounts of water and CO2, also capturing the H1N1 influenza virus.
To all this, let’s add a reduction in the friction of the air with the surface of the machine, which makes it 20% quieter and the Dyson Air Multiplier technology that allows air to be projected to all corners of the room from the Dyson Link app, which It can be activated by voice control.
