An auction house managed to sell an original suit worn by Michael Keaton in the production of Batman Returns, at an insane price
Let’s be honest, who hasn’t dreamed of having a real Batman suit in their closet? But not just any suit, an authentic one! like the one Michael Keaton wore in Batman Returns.

The Nate D. Sanders house, whose auctions include original items worn in movies or by top musicians, auctioned off a suit worn in Tim Burton’s 1992 production Batman Returns, worn by Michael Keaton.
The garment was purchased by an anonymous buyer for the amount of $41,520 dollars ($869,486.27 Mexican pesos at an exchange rate of 20.94 in 2017). The auction started with a price of $33,000 dollars
The suit is made of rubber, with a height of 1.9 meters, with the yellow bat belt and the bat logo in black and yellow.
The previous semester, this same house also auctioned off a suit worn by Christian Bale in The Dark Knight, which reached a final price of $250,000 dollars, five times what Keaton’s suit cost.
This is because the auction house rates its price taking into account that both films were released in 1992 and 2008, respectively.
Batman Returns was the second, and last film, where Tim Burton and Michael Keaton teamed up to bring a darker Bat-Man story. Danny DeVito as The Penguin and Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman rounded out the star cast.
The tone of the film pleased the fans, but not the executives of Warner Bros., who decided to hire Joel Schumacher for the following sequels, in a story that we all already know.
Now Michael Keaton will return as Batman once again in The Flash
With the script by Christina Hodson, this film will be directed by the Argentine filmmaker Andrés Muschetti and will have Ezra Miller in the role of Barry Allen / Flash.
Also present will be Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, and Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck, both as Bruce Wayne / Batman.
