Hogwarts Legacy will not offer paid upgrades.
After a year and a half without news, Hogwarts Legacy now it only offers us great surprises. After a State of Play packed with news and announcing its release for Nintendo Switch, the game has now confirmed that will not have microtransactions. This has been advanced by Chandler Wood, Community manager, after receiving a wave of questions about this important detail.

Questions about microtransactions arose after Hogwarts Legacy introduced its progression, class, and level-up system. Players will go to classes to learn spells and then unlock upgrades, talents, and abilities to hone their combat style. Doubts about whether paying with real money would help boost these improvements were beginning to arise, but now it is confirmed that what you have to do is overcome the missions and challenges in the game world to gain experience and level up.
Hogwarts Legacy It will be released in Christmas 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The single player open world action RPG is set in the magical world of the 19th century. In the story, players will experience student life at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry like never before and embark on a perilous, untold adventure to uncover a hidden truth of the wizarding world.
In addition to touring the castle and attending class, players will also be able to discover new and familiar placessuch as the Forbidden Forest or the town of Hogsmeade in a game that will also offer duels, broom races or taming of fantastic animals.
