Today IO Interactive, developers of Hitman, have announced the roadmap that the second year of Hitman 3 will follow, and it seems that it will be a year full of new content. In addition to that, Xbox users have received the good news that the Hitman Trilogy, a collection that will encompass the modern trilogy along with all its added content (DLCs), will come to Xbox Game Pass at the start.
Probably one of the content additions that has caught our attention the most is that Hitman 3 is getting a roguelike game mode. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term, it includes titles like Hades or The Binding of Isaac, in which each game resets (to a greater extent) the entire progression, providing an arcade style.
Hitman 3 will announce the contents of its Year 2 this week
The game mode, called Hitman Freelancer, will be based on strategic planning and will allow us to have a safe house that we can customize to our liking, having different areas and elements to use that we can unlock as we go forward and make contracts within it.

It certainly seems like a game mode that will give fans of the title many more hours, introducing completely new mechanics and rewards in the saga. Hitman Trilogy will arrive on January 20 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Ps4, Ps5 and PC, in addition, in this case it will reach other stores such as Steam, ending its temporary exclusivity with the Epic Games Store.
