According to a new report, the Halo Infinite’s long-rumored battle royale it’s real and it’s going to be released in the fall of 2023. In other words, it’s not going to be released any time soon. Additionally, it is stated that the mode will have tiered loot drops, like most battle royale mods, and will feature 60 players, unlike most battle royale mods that go for 100 or something like that. The rumor is especially interesting when it states that the map will be made up, at least partially, of original maps from the series.
The rumor comes from YouTuber Sean W, and claims to know of at least one Halo 2 and Halo 3 map that will be featured in Halo Infinite battle royale. There are no precise details on which two maps exactly. Along with this, the YouTuber claims that the corporate lockdown is hampering development and slowing down the process.
