Almost 44 years have passed since it all began. And this October, it will all come to an end. After several months of expectations, we finally have the trailer for Halloween the final night, a film that will put an end (at least for now) to the iconic horror saga started by John Carpenter. After several deaths and a continuous persecution, Laurie Strode prepares for the final confrontation, can she finish once and for all with Michael Myers?
Synopsis
Years have passed since the events of Halloween Kills. Laurie lives with her granddaughter Allyson and is finishing writing her memoir. Nobody knows the whereabouts of Michael Myers. After several decades living in her shadow and in fear of being overtaken, Laurie has decided to free herself from fear and embrace life. But when a young man is accused of killing a child she cared for, it begins a cascade of violence that Laurie knows all too well. The time has come for her to face the evil she has been unable to control.
The cast and production crew
Jamie Lee Curtis returns to put an end to the story that catapulted her to fame as the scream queen most famous of the genre. Her last appearance as Laurie Strode promises a lot of action and a definitive ending to her story, as the actress expressed it a few days ago (via):
“It was deeply emotional and cathartic (separating from the character). I mean, when they call her “the final girl,” she never understood how important that nickname is until I did this movie. Now I really get it. And I think they will be very happy.”
Andi Matichak, Will Patton and James Jude Courntey (the latter as the iconic Michael Myers) also return to send off the saga in style. The direction of the tape is again in charge of David Gordon Green, who was also in charge of the two previous films. He also wrote the script with Danny McBride. Both promise a much more intimate tape and with a different touch than Halloween Kills (via):
“There are not many games in it. It’s a bit a coming of age and it has a very different tone. That was what excited me the most, having three chapters that I’ve been involved in that feel very different from each other. All three are a way to honor (John) Carpenter, but they’re not necessarily to emulate him.”
What can we expect from Halloween the final night?
As this is the end of the franchise, many are expecting true carnage and a brutal showdown between our heroine and the killer who has haunted her her entire life. Some reports indicate that, indeed, the film will be very different from the previous ones. There is even talk of a possible new look for Michael Myers and a structure that could be divisive in the audience. Whatever the end result, fans of the saga, horror and slashers They will be there from day one.
When it premieres Halloween the final night?
The tape will arrive October 13, 2022 exclusively to theaters in Latin America. As usual, a very appropriate date for the theme and the mood it’s from the season.

John Joseph Cruz I am one of those who always defended Robert Pattinson as Batman and can see the same movie in the cinema up to 7 times. My guilty pleasure? Low budget horror movies.
